Biography

Jenna Lorence has extensive experience litigating state and federal constitutional law issues. She has argued before federal courts of appeal and multiple state supreme courts. Before joining Cooper & Kirk, Ms. Lorence served as an Assistant Solicitor General in Kentucky, the Deputy Solicitor General of Indiana, and as the first Solicitor General of Alaska.

Ms. Lorence also has experience in the private sector, representing clients in state and federal court during her time in private practice in Washington, D.C. Ms. Lorence clerked for the Honorable Allison Jones Rushing on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and graduated cum laude from Washington and Lee University School of Law.
