 Steven J. Lindsay joined Cooper & Kirk in 2019 after a Bristow Fellowship in the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of the Solicitor General. He previously clerked for Judge Thomas B. Griffith of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit. Mr. Lindsay received his J.D. from Yale Law School, where he was an articles editor on the Yale Law Journal and a teaching fellow in constitutional law. His student note on the Administrative Procedure Act won the Israel H. Peres Prize, awarded by the law school’s faculty to the best student note or comment appearing in the Journal. Mr. Lindsay earned his undergraduate degree summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Princeton University. He is admitted to the bar of the Commonwealth of Virginia and his application to the District of Columbia bar is currently pending.
